Think your group is too small/informal/different for a system?

Hey there,

Think a welcome system doesn't apply to your group?

I get it. I hear that quite often.

On occasion, it's from leaders who don't actually like their communities or resent that members aren't throwing credit cards at their faces.

But it's more typical to hear it from community leaders who feel like they just aren't "there" yet. But the idea that there is a point somewhere in the future where strong community matters more than it does right now is a myth.

MYTH: "My group is too small for this."

FACT: Small groups lose members just as quickly as big ones. You just don't notice unless watching the data.

MYTH: "My group is too casual for a 'system.'"

FACT: A system doesn't mean scripted and robotic. It means someone always gets welcomed the same reliable way, whether you're having a good week or a terrible one.

These aren't reasons to skip onboarding. They're reasons your group needs it more, not less.

If any of that sounds familiar, my session at the Repeat Repeat Results® Showcase is built for you. The event runs all next week, and my session — From Click to Connection — is on Tuesday. Register here.
