[BTHT26] I asked the Jumpstart, “Am I doing enough?”

Reader,

Yesterday I told you that the Homeschool Jumpstart includes a Gemini Notebook loaded with the transcripts from all 21 summit sessions.

And I realized that probably sounds cool…but also a little abstract.

So let me show you what it actually does.

I opened the Notebook today and asked it this:

“It’s so hard to fit everything in each day. How can I be sure I’m doing enough with my elementary-age children?”

The Notebook searched through the summit conversations and pulled together what our speakers had said about that exact struggle.

And one of the first things it told me was:

If you can’t finish everything on your daily list, you may simply have too many checkboxes on the schedule.

Not exactly the answer our overachieving homeschool brains expect, right? 😂

Then it pulled together advice from across the sessions:

→ Measure progress instead of completed pages.

→ Keep foundational work like reading, phonics and math brief.

→ Build around your family’s natural rhythms instead of trying to recreate a 9-to-3 classroom at home.

→ Count the learning happening in conversations, read-alouds, nature walks, baking and play.

And it gave me a ridiculously useful filter for an overloaded day:

  • What needs to be done?
  • What needs to be done TODAY?
  • What needs to be done BY ME?

That’s when I thought:

THIS is why I wanted the Gemini Notebook in the Homeschool Jumpstart.

Because you probably don’t need 21 more videos sitting on a digital shelf making you feel guilty that you haven’t watched them.

You need to be able to show up on a Wednesday afternoon when the schedule has fallen apart and ask:

“Am I doing enough?”

Or:

“How do I know if this curriculum isn’t working?”

“How can I homeschool and work without losing my mind?”

“My child struggles to work independently. What can I do?”

And instead of trying to remember which speaker talked about it, you can ask the summit.

The Notebook searches the transcripts and helps you find the relevant advice from people who have already been there.

Then, when you want to go deeper, you have permanent access to all 21 recordings and transcripts too.

That’s the Homeschool Jumpstart.

21 recorded sessions.

21 full transcripts.

The Gemini Notebook loaded with all of them.

Plus additional resources and bonuses.

Complete access for $27.

P.S. I personally think “maybe you just have too many checkboxes” should be printed on a coffee mug and handed to every homeschool parent their first day. ☕
