Hey there, Last week I told you about acquiring Velocity Generator and the other assets Gwen Bortner and I built together while I served as her chief marketing and operations officer. What I didn't tell you is that I fell for this business four years ago. It happened at my first Quarterly Tune-Up. I'd already been working with Gwen behind the scenes, but that QTU was my first real time in a room with her clients. Afterward, I told her she had the most incredible clients I'd ever encountered. And then, because I'm me, I gave her a detailed list of exactly why. What struck me wasn't how successful everyone was or how much they knew. It was how they showed up. Women who could talk honestly about what wasn't working. Who stayed curious about each other without trying to run each other's businesses. Who changed their minds when new information gave them a reason to. Over the next four years, I got a much closer look. I read the Weekly Review and Action Plans. I facilitated the calls. I have watched women from $60K to $600K wrestle with decisions, change direction, and come back the following week with new information. I also saw where we could do better. So here's what Velocity Generator actually is, now that it's mine: outside perspective on the business decisions you'd otherwise make alone, through a structured weekly review — the WRAP — and a quarterly planning process — the QTU. Biweekly feedback calls are there if you want another set of eyes (or ears), but they're optional. I have three openings in our service provider cohort this month. If you've been making big calls in your business alone and wondering afterward if you got it right, hit reply. Tell me what's going on, and we'll figure out together if this is a fit. Tonya P.S.
