I’m officially starting the task study today.

If you want to be a fly on the wall, here’s the Google doc where I’ll be logging what I’m working on as the days unfold.

A few things to know before you click in:

• This is still a task study, not a time study. I’m tracking what I’m doing, not how efficiently I do it.
• You don’t need to read every line or check in every day. This isn’t a challenge and there’s nothing to “keep up with.”
• The doc allows comments. You’re welcome to leave questions or observations — or just lurk quietly. Both are fine.

Over the next several days, I’ll also share short notes on social media about what I’m noticing as patterns start to show up.

The goal here is visibility, not behavior change.

Because once you can actually see what’s happening, better decisions tend to follow — without force, guilt, or a new system to manage.
